Replace your old windows with new AMSCO ENERGY STAR qualified windows
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 that offered tax incentives to homeowners who purchased and installed energy-saving products in their home in 2006 and 2007 expired on December 31, 2007.
Even without a tax rebate or incentive, it is still a good time to replace those old drafty windows with new ENERGY STAR qualified windows. Check with your local utility companies or city municipality to see if they offer any rebates or know of any in your area. Be sure to follow their guidelines in requesting any rebates.
For any rebate requests, be sure to keep the ENERGY STAR window labels and purchase receipt. Provide these to the entity offering the rebate if required or to your tax preparer at the end of the year.
Because AMSCO ships product to multiple states and locations, AMSCO does not maintain any records of locally-available rebates or tax incentives provided by third-parties.
