AMSCO Windows® is a leading manufacturer of vinyl windows and patio doors and is seeking career oriented individuals.

We have various full time production/manufacturing positions available.

Production:

The positions entail assembling vinyl windows and patio doors. Applicants must have good communication skills,

  • starting pay $12.00 $13.50 (depending on the position and shift)
  • 3 weeks paid vacation
  • 9 paid holidays

  • semi-annual wage increases

There are 3 shifts to choose from:

First shift: 6am – 2:30pm (pay ranges from $12.00 – $13.00 depending on the job)

Second shift: 2:45pm – 11:15pm (pay ranges from $12.50 – $13.50/hr. depending on the job)

Part time: 2:45pm – 9pm (pay ranges from $15.00 – $16.00/hr. depending on the job and there are no benefits associated with this schedule)

 

Maintenance Mechanic:

Job Summary:

  • Support production efforts by responding to machinery/equipment issues
  • effectively troubleshoot/diagnose the situation
  • provide recommendations and solutions to solve the problems

Job Requirements:

This position requires a certain skill set and ability to diagnose and fix machines and equipment we have in the plant.  Below are the desired skills we are looking for:

  • self-motivated and be able to work alone
  • desire to learn and try new things
  • good analytical skills: ability to access a machine and trouble shoot the root cause of the problem and be able to come up an idea on how to fix it.
  • previous knowledge/experience with machine controls (such as PLC’s), pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics is helpful
  • ability to read schematics is helpful

Pay is based on experience

 

Production Team Lead:

Job Summary:

  • Oversee 5 – 10 hourly production workers and ensure production schedule is being followed and goals are met each day while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate well with others, provide on the job training to new hires, teach quality and safety standards, etc.
  • Be a team player and be able to inspire subordinates to hit daily production goals
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box to resolve issues
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow through on assignments
  • Communicate effectively with internal suppliers and customers to keep production lines running
